MLK Labor Calls on Joe Fain to Step Down

MLK Labor Executive Secretary-Treasurer issued the following statement.

“After Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court, it’s time for King County to stand up for victims of sexual assault. Few people understand the impact of sexual violence better than working-class women, many of whom are victims themselves. They know how prevalent it is for men to abuse their power in and out of the workplace.”

“King County does not need leaders who abuse women and power. That’s why MLK Labor is demanding that State Senator Joe Fain step down and end his bid for reelection.”
