Labor of Love Awardee

Niles Edge Healing Art | Seattle, WA

Nile’s Edge is an African-centered healing arts space that serves as an incubator to support Black practitioners who use creative, preventative, and sustainable methods of healing to support our community.

Last year, they opened a physical healing space and offered discounted rates for Black health practitioners that used alternative and traditional methods of healing. This space gives individual practitioners a place to grow and learn in support of their practices. They also provide free marketing, networking, and professional development opportunities.

Their newest program is called “The Diaspora Series.” This is a special series of workshops dedicated to the African Diaspora community to connect, heal, and learn together. They have gathered practitioners from all over the country to give the history of many rituals and ancient practices that we can use today.
