• Respect: Stadium workers have told us that they want transparent communication and fair processes at work. A union can negotiate and uphold fair grievance procedures with your employer.
• Training: Stadium workers have told us they would like to see a union advocate for more customer service and de-escalation training, so they can have all the tools they need to be successful in doing their jobs.

Securing what you have today into a legally binding contract ensures what you like about your job stays that way–even if there is a change of management or ownership. Absolutely. It is illegal to fire, threaten or discriminate against a worker for their support of a union. Even better, Lumen Field management has a relationship with a number of Seattle-area unions. They have committed to respect the legal right of their employees to unionize if they choose to do so. Company managers and supervisors will not discipline, discharge or otherwise discriminate against any person due to the fact that such person has or has not joined the Union or engaged in lawful activity in support of or in opposition to the Union.

There is no cost to join until you vote in your first collective agreement. Once you start benefiting from your new contract, your dues will be no more than a small portion of your earnings.
