RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs fiscal administrative support functions for Lab Med Finance division. Including making monthly payments for the current 11 active cellular accounts
  • Maintains and update the current cell phones users’ database
  • Performs month end procard reconciliation of the department’s main FedEx procard, including sending monthly reminders to active users to send in reports
  • Maintains and update the FedEx users account, including creating new user ID account when requested
  • In coordination with Fiscal Specialist, perform daily reconciliation of the department’s self-sustaining budget. Including using independent judgement in resolving problems with any discrepancies
  • Maintain and oversee the current filing system for Finance division
  • Daily distribution of mail and sort all incoming packing slip for reconciliation
  • Serve as primary contact for office supply orders for unit
  • Provide coverage for staff vacancies, when required
  • Use organizational skills and provide attention to details
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • Comply with all departmental, institutional and health care agency policies, rules and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer services to internal faculty/staff and external vendors
  • Evaluate for process improvement and make suggestions to management when a need is identified
  • Perform special projects as requested and other duties as required
