Position Summary:
The Ground level Response and Coordinated Engagement (GRACE) program is looking for the right person to join our dynamic team! This is a Full-time Crisis Mental Health Therapist II or III for our GRACE Program in Bellingham. The program started in 2018, the Whatcom County GRACE program has been a national leader in redefining community-based health. GRACE intensive Case Managers work alongside Community Paramedics or Behavioral Health Law enforcement.
The Intensive Case Manager Crisis / Mental Health Therapist II and III provides the majority of their services in the community to high acuity population. They are part of the PACT, FEP, AMCI, CST, GRACE and LEAD Teams or similar treatment model. Additionally they provide diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment. In addition, the Mental Health Therapist provides individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment and treatment plans, and leads groups. Assistance to the Director in program development, policy and procedure development, compliance with WACS and RCWS, and other administrative tasks performed are as directed.
