Position Summary:

Sea Mar Behavioral Health’s diverse and quickly expanding program is seeking an On-Call Crisis Mental Health Therapist II and III for its High Acuity Mental Health Program located in Vancouver (formerly known as Community Services NW). The candidate will be expected to respond to a behavioral health crisis in the community. The program runs 7 days a week with evening and weekend shifts. Depending on experience and qualifications, the applicant will either be hired as a Crisis Mental Health Therapist II or III.

The Crisis Mental Health Therapist II and III provides the majority of their services in the community to high acuity population.  They are part of the PACT, FEP, AMCI, CST, GRACE and LEAD Teams or similar treatment model.  Additionally they provide diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.  In addition, the Mental Health Therapist provides individual counseling, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment and treatment plans, and leads groups.  Assistance to the Director in program development, policy and procedure development, compliance with WACS and RCWS, and other administrative tasks performed are as directed.
