GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Deli Server/Cashier is responsible for the preparation of foods served, making sandwiches, salads, wraps, and coffee drinks, bussing, dishes, cleaning, and cashiering in the WAC Café. This position provides Members and guests with quality service and contributes to the smooth operations of the Food and Beverage Department. This position processes all Member and guest checks through our POS system.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Gathers food items from kitchen and transports to WAC Café. Works with team members in the kitchen to model WAC values and contribute to the WAC’s mission, vision and values.
• Prepares foods that are ordered, assuring freshness and quality in presentation. Handles special requests from Members.
• Works with POS system and acts as a cashier for the CAFÉ, receiving moneys, making change, recording and      tallying sales and counting till. Accuracy is required.
• Maintains a clean and tidy café. Clears tables and cleans the areas as needed. Restocks supplies such as napkins, condiments, paper products and provides list of items to be ordered.
