Summary: Catering Leads are responsible for overseeing the food and beverage set up, service, and f&b breakdown/clean-up for special events that are planned by First & Goal Hospitality’s Catering Sales Manager. They will still perform all catering serving duties but has an added expectation of leading by example and delegating the team ensuring that all catering responsibilities are accounted for.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads by example
- Delegates the team
- Greets guests with a positive, attentive demeanor
- Serves plated dinners
- Serves wine / coffee tableside for selected events
- Replenishes buffet & beverages
- Food station attendant
- Espresso cart attendant - operating espresso cart can be taught overtime
- Bartending - full bar / beer & wine bar - must be able to bartender at a beer & wine bar, full bar can be taught overtime
- Follows all alcohol policies
- Barbacking - keeping bar fully stocked
- Tray passing appetizers
- Tray passing champagne / wine - must be able to carry small tray with at least 8 glasses at a time
