ATU 587 is the union representing drivers for King County Metro and Sound Transit. Solid Ground is a subcontractor for MV Transportation which contracts with King County Metro. Solid Ground workers have been working without a contract since February. To make matters worse, they never received federal money that was promised to all transit workers under the American Rescue Plan.

Join them for a rally on Thursday, October 6 at 2 pm at the South Park Community Center (8319 8th Ave S, in Seattle). This rally will be attended by ATU International President John Costa so it would be great to see a good turnout and send a strong message to the company.
