This faculty position will be responsible for teaching college-level business administration courses to 100-level and 200-level transfer and professional-technical students. The primary teaching assignments may include courses such as Introduction to Business, Retail Management and other business administration courses. Instructional assignments will primarily be assigned during the regular business hours of the College and may also include occasional evening classes.

In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will advise students, assist with assessment of current instructional methods, develop programs, outcomes, and curricula, and participate in Shoreline governance, department, division, industry-focused advisory meetings, and campus-related professional activities. This position will also lead experiential learning activities such as DECA to help students apply their business skills.

Faculty at Shoreline will have an array of students from differing programs in their classroom, including professional technical and university transfers. Shoreline seeks a candidate that can identify and mitigate the barriers to success that many students face and be passionate about creating an equitable learning environment that supports success for all students.
